    A. Simply choose 'Become a Renthirer Now' from the navigation bar at the top at the top of the home page and follow the steps.

  5. Q. My details have changed, how do I update them?
    A. Simply log into your RentHire account, then choose 'My Account Details' from the left navigation.

  6. Q. Do I have to provide my personal email address in my Ad?
    A. No but then you will have to rely on customers contacting you by phone, so make sure you include the phone number in your Ad

Placing An Ad
  1. Q. What do I need to do to place an Ad?
    A. You need to register as a RentHirer. It’s quick and easy. Simply go to the registration page and follow the prompts. Once you have a Rent Hire account, navigate to the Ad Manager page where you can choose to create a new Ad. The Ad wizards makes creating your Ad easy - it will be live, for the world to see in a matter of minutes!

  2. Q. How do I change my Ad?
    A: Its easy, just go to Ad MANAGER there you will be able to edit text, remove old photos for new, archive your Ad or revive an old Ad.

  3. Q. When will my Ad appear online?
    A. As soon as you clear the payment gateway it will go live.

  4. Q. How much will my Ad cost?
    A. There are three types of Ad to choose from. Firstly: DIRECTORY Ad which is listed for twelve months. Secondly: CASUAL Ad which is priced at $99.00 for 21 days and for renewal of the Ad for a further period of 21 days at only $33.00.   5. Q. What type of Ad can I have/run?
    A. There are three types of Ad to choose from. The DIRECTORY Ad which is listed for twelve months. The CASUAL Ad which is for 21 days and which you can renew for a further period of 21 days. The CORPORATE Ad is for a period of 12 months by way of Contract. We have a rate to suit every type of Business.

  6. Q. Can I Advertise more than one property or item at a time?
    A. Yes, depending on you the account type selected, you can advertise as many things as you like and you have a choice of over 3500+ categories to select from. Just select which category is best for you and start earning now. Also with our Bulk Up-Load facility it’s easy to load many Ads at once saving you time and money.

  7. Q. What can I put in my Ad?
    A. A detailed description of what you wish to show can be inserted in the text description box together with headings and photos. Simply go to the Ad Manager easy step by step Ad wizard and follow the prompts. You can upload up to 10 photos as well as your logo or product or even a photo of yourself. When your Ad is loaded and sent live we add a map link to show directions to your advertised contact or display address.

  8. Q. How long will my Ad run for?
    A. This depends on your selected choice of Ad. The Directory is for 12 months. The casual Ad is for 21 days with a right of renewal for further periods of 21 days if not successful in the first instance. RentHire does not determine the Corporate Ad run time. This is a monthly account and the choice is yours. You may decide to run it for a day or the full year. The most important thing is to keep your product fresh and appealing to your customers/clients.

  9. Q. What happens to my Ad after it expires?
    A. Your Ad will be retained in the Expired Ads section of your account.

Editing an Ad
  1. Q. How do I edit my Ad
    A. When you created your Ad, the details that you used to register with are remembered and you simply login to your RentHire account using your password. When you are logged in, go to Ad Manager choose Active or Archived, simply click modify next to the Ad you wish to change. You can modify your Ad/s at any time.

  2. Q. Can I edit my photos?
    A. Yes. You can edit/change, upload or alter your images at any time. The Directory Ad incurs a small charge of $3.30 each time you change your image. Text cannot be changed during the contract period. The Casual Ad images can be changed at any time as well as The Corporate images. Simply go the Ad manager page

  3. Q. Can I make alterations to my Ad once it's gone live?
    A. Yes, all Ads can be amended at any time, except the text in the Directory Ad. See Edit My Ad.

  4. Q. What happens if I remove my Ad before the contract expires?
    A. If you remove your Ad prior to the automatic expiry date you do not receive a refund for unused time.

  5. Q. What do I do if I wish to remove my Ad?
    A. You are able to remove your Ad at any time and you can from the Ad Manager delete the Ad completely or you can send it to the archive.

  6. Q. How do I delete an Ad or make it inactive?
    A. Login, go to Ad Manager, select which function you wish to perform from that page and execute and you are finished.

  7. Q. Can I view my Ad/s before going live?
    A. Yes. In Ad Manager and after you have completed the wizard steps to create your Ad, select View my Ad and your Ad will appear. This enables you to go back and further edit your Ad before sending it to archive or live.

Archive
  1. Q. What does Archived Ad mean?
    A. The meaning refers to an Ad you have created and which you do not wish to send live until some other time. This folder allows you to store your single/multiple or even campaign Ads in advance of a launch date. This will save you time and money.

  2. Q. How do I create an Archived Ad?
    A. An Archive Ad is the same as creating a normal Ad. The difference is that, rather than sending it live to the site you store in the archived folder by clicking that option. When you choose you can send it live.

  3. Q. Do I have to pay for an Archived Ad?
    A. When you have finished creating the Ad you can add it to your shopping cart and click 'pay now'. Once the Ad is paid you then have a choice as to sending it live or sending it to the archive folder for activation at a later date. The choice is yours.

  3. Q. How do I select a rental category for my Ad?
    A. Once you have created your Account through the Registration page, go to Ad Manager page there you will see a request to select your Rent category from a list of options contained in a drop down box. Simply select the category you want (eg. Commercial or Units or whatever you have) click on it and it will be placed in your Ad. If you want your Ad under a second category you will need to create a separate Ad for this and each additional category. There is no limit to the categories you can place your Ad.

  4. Q. Are there any Rental categories that overlap?
    A. Yes. When you place an Ad in Apartments the Ad will also automatically appear in Units and Flats for no cost to you the RentHirer.

  5. Q. How many Hire categories do you have?
    A. The RentHire.com home page has examples of the most common Hire categories. The A-Z category list at the bottom of the homepage, when clicked on, will let you see the most categories of any Web site, in fact 6000+ with sub categories. Each category makes it simple for parties to find exactly what they are looking for. In just two clicks you are there. This saves you wasting time searching through many sites, files or books that simply waste your time.

  6. Q. How do I select a Hire category to advertise in?
    A. Once you have created your Account through the Registration page, go to Ad Manager page there you will see a request to select your Hire category from a list of options contained in a drop down box. Simply select the category you want (eg. Accountants, Baby Sitter, Hire goods, Pre Schools, to mention just a few.) Click on it and it will be placed in your Ad. You must then select the subcategory from the next drop down box and you are on the way to placing your Ad. It’s that easy. If you want your Ad under a second category you will need to create a separate Ad for this and each additional category. There is no limit to the categories you can place your Ad.

  7. Q. What is a sub category?
    A. The subcategory is available so that the main categories can be broken down into more specific groups. For example, Main Category Accountants, then Sub Category could be Tax accountants or Wedding could have sub categories “Arrangers?or Celebrants etc.

Photos
  1. Q. How many photos can I use?
    A. For the Directory Ad you can upload one photo/image. For Casual Ad you can upload 4 Photo/images together with Virtual Tour file. For the Corporate Ad you can upload 10 photos/images as well as a Virtual Tour file as well as Video File.

  2. Q. What size must my images be?
    A. They should be 640x480 pixels for fast upload.

  3. Q. What format should my photos/images be in?
    A. You should upload photos/images in any of the following formats viz, PEG, JPG or GIF.

  4. Q. How long does it take to load my photos/images?
    A. This depends on the size of the photo/image you are trying to upload. It is advised that smaller sized images load quicker and are viewed faster.

  5. Q. How can I reduce my photo sizes?
    A. Try down loading a free site called IFRANVIEW, www.ifranview.com. It’s simple to use and will quickly help eliminate problems with image sizes.

  6. Q. What is a Virtual Tour?
    A. A Virtual Tour gives the viewer an interactive view of the entire item in a movie like manner. Whether it’s a property or a boat or a plane it lets you show the best of it. You may need some special assistance with the camera work. You should follow our instructions on to how to upload Virtual Tours.

  7. Q. Can I change my photos?
    A. Yes. The Directory Ad can be changed often for a small handling fee. The Casual and Monthly Corporate Ads can ale altered during the contract period.

  8. Q. I can't see how to edit my Ad or photos
    A. Go to Ad Manager and go into Edit, follow the prompts and you will be able to make corrections to text and photos/images.

  9. Q. My photos will not upload
    A. If you are having difficulty in getting your photos to load to your Ad, check the size of your photo, you probably have not reduced the photo enough. Maximum size you can upload per photo is 500 KB. Remember the photo must not be bigger than 640x480 pixels. Why not download to your desktop a free software program called Ifranview from www.ifranview.com. especially if you have dial-up connection this will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Ad Timing
  1. Q. How long does my Ad remain on RentHire .com site?
    A. Your Ad will remain on the site as long as the contract term you have selected. However you may choose to take it off the site at any time

  2. Q. What happens Ad to an Ad after the contract expires?
    A. Your Ad will be deleted from the site at the end of the contract if the contract is not renewed. However your registration details are not deleted and you can simply logon at any time and again place Ads.

  3. Q. When will my Ad appear on line?
    A. Your Ad appears virtually immediately, upon it clearing the payment gateway.

Ad Costings
  1. Q. How much will my Ad cost?
    A. There are three types of Ad to choose from. Firstly, The DIRECTORY Ad which listed for twelve months. Secondly, The CASUAL Ad which is priced at $99.00 for 21 days and for renewal of the Ad for a further period of 21 days at only $33.00. Thirdly, The MONTHLY CORPORATE Ad is by way of Contract and is billed on a monthly basis. Also available is PREFERRED POSITION locations throughout the site. These are broken into 2 classes called Platinum and Gold. Platinum gives you Home page position on the scrolling images with a direct link to your Ad. This is available for purchase on a 21-day plan at $39.50 per Ad plan. Gold ensures you are top of page on a first placed basis for 21 days. The Ads in this plan are shuffled during this period to ensure Gold stays Gold. The cost is $21.00 per plan. Silver is run of site on a first listed basis. This plan costs no extra.

  2. Q. Can I get a refund if I remove my Ad prior to its expiry date?
    A. No. If you choose to remove your Ad prior to the automatic expiry date the full cost will be incurred.

Payments
  1. Q. What payment methods do you accept?
    A. We accept payment by Credit card either Visa or MasterCard or Direct Debit on your Bank account or BPAY.

  2. Q. How secure is my credit card information?
    A. Our payment gateway uses the latest encryption technology including secure server locket (SSL) to ensure your safety and security. Once payment has cleared the gateway you are sent a confirmation receipt immediately for your records. This is not the case for Corporate clients as the billing method may be different.

  3. Q. Is the Website secure?
    A. As safe as modern technology will allow us to be. We employ the latest encryption and firewalls to keep you and your information safe and secure.

  4. Q. Can I pay for more than one Ad at a time?
    A. Yes, The Shopping cart lets you place more than one Ad in basket and then you only pay once, when you have completed placing your Ads.

  5. Q. How do I remove my Ad from the shopping cart?
    A. Simply open the shopping cart and click 'Remove' next to the Ad you wish to remove from the cart.

  6. Q: Can I edit an Ad that's in the Shopping Cart?
    A: Yes. You must first remove the Ad you wish to modify from the Shopping Cart then click modify.
Real Estate Agents
  1. Q: Do you know how I can find a property manager?
    A: Yes. If you are looking for a property manager, then select Real Estate in the Hire section located on Home page or just type in Property Manager in the search box and you will be taken to that category. You will then refine the result to get to the area you are looking for.

  2. Q. Can I find more properties from the same property manager’s office?
    A. Yes, if you wish to see more property Ads by a specific property manager’s office please click on the Agents Logo. This will load all their properties.

  3. Q. Do you know how I can find a real estate agent?
    A. Yes. If you are looking for a Real Estate Agent or Property Manager, then click on the home page link under the Rent Column. You will then refine the result to get to the area you are looking for.

  4. Q. Do your offer Real Estate Agents discounts?
    A. Please contact your Business manager to discus your Volume requirements.

My Password
  1. Q. What happens if I forget my Password?
    A. On the registration page click on the 'I forgot my password' button. The password will be sent to you via email, usually within a few minutes.

Personal Changes
  1. Q. How do I change my details?
    A. Login with your password as normal and choose "My Account Details" from the left navigation and follow the prompts.

RentHire Alerts
  1. Q. What is a RentHire Alert?
    A. This is a free service provided by RentHire. You can ask us to email you Ads from specific categories that you're interested in, whether they be rent or hire.

  2. Q. How do I use RentHire Alerts and Shortlist?
    A. You need to be registered as a RentHirer. If you have not registered please do so, IT’S FREE. Once registered simply use your password and login to open the RentHire Alert page. Follow the steps and prompts in either Rent or Hire or both and select the areas you wish to be sent Alerts on. It’s that simple and you will be then be ready to receive all the RentHire mail that relates to your needs.
    My Shortlist ?Category/Item list - You can use this feature to store current listed categories/items listed on the RentHire.com site. From the Search Results list, or from the category/items listings page, all you need do is simply click on 'Add to shortlist'. You will then receive confirmation that the category/item has been added to your shortlist. To view your list at any time simply click on the link. Please note: When an item is removed from the site it will also be removed from your shortlist.

  3. Q. Why does my Alert say there are no categories matching my profile?
    A. RentHire Alert delivers to you all of the categories/ items matching your profile that you told us about when you first logged in. Subsequent emails will only deliver items (matching your request) that have been added to the site since your previous email. The Web is not as specific and will return to you a lot of data that does not always correspond to your identified criteria.

  4. Q. How does RentHire Alert work?
    A. RentHire Alert delivers to your email address all of the items currently on the site that match the search criteria you have selected. Subsequent emails will only deliver newly posted categories/item Ads (matching your requirements) which have been listed on the site since your previous alert email. You can at any time log in and click the link to create a new RentHire Alert for yourself or to modify an existing alert.

  5. Q. I no longer wish to receive alerts. What do I do?
    A. Firstly login and go to the View Email Alerts page and you will see a button saying delete; Also from this page you can also modify your Alert details.

Searching
  1. Q. How do I search for properties/hire goods and services?
    A. On the Home page you will see a large number of categories. For Rent select any of the categories listed and you will be taken straight to that page. When you have that page open, simply complete the search items and click and you will have your result –it’s that easy. Two clicks and you are there. For Hire it’s the same. Here you choose the categories you want to find e.g. Main category chosen –Cars, the sub category could be “Hire?or “Chauffer driven?or Rent a Car etc, the choice is yours. You're there in 2 Clicks.

  2. Q. How much does it cost to Search?
    A. RentHire searches are Free. So is registration for Alerts or Shortlisting of items.


  3. Q. When I Search, it appears my Ad number is not working?
    A. Make sure you typed in the correct Ad number that has been assigned to your Ad. You can check this by going to the Ad Manager and selecting Edit Ad. Your Ads will be displayed with the Ad numbers. The Ad might have been deleted after contract period.


  4. Q. Unable to locate someone for Rent or Hire?
    A. If you are looking for say a Handyman, hire company, Real Estate agent or other person and you know what you are looking for is in your area, they may not yet be a RentHirer. Only those persons listed on our site are those, who have entered into a contractual arrangement with RentHire. Our site does not cover listings of any general groupings such as Real Estate agents unless they are RentHirers. Check back because Ads are being placed all the time.

  5. Q. I entered a price range and I received no results?
    A. It's possible there are no Ads that meet your criteria. Try broadening the range.

  6. Q. I cannot find a map reference for the Search I carried out?
    A. RentHire uses Google Maps. If the map location cannot be found by Google you should see a 'Map not found' error where the map should be.

  7. Q Why can't I find Categories/Items/Properties matching my search criteria?
    A. We would suggest you alter your search criteria, e.g., put less information, put different price or date or bed ranges etc, so as to narrow the search range. Often this will help find your category/item quickly

  8. Q. What is My Shortlist?
    A. This is a Category/Item list - You can use this feature to store current listed categories/items listed on the RentHire.com site. From the Search Results list, or from the category/items listings page, all you need do is simply click on 'Add to shortlist'. The shortlist will then open with your item in it. Please Note: When an item is removed from the site it will no longer appear in your shortlist.

  9. Q: How can I find Ad's I have placed?
    A: Log in to your account and go to Ad Manager and Open Edit screen and you will see all your Ad numbers and brief description. If you wish to open simply click on the Ad you want. This screen will show all your active, archived and expired Ads with a brief description. To open any on these Ads simply click on 'View this Ad'.

  10. Q. I cannot find the category that I want. Why?
    A. The category has not yet been registered on our site. Please advise us immediately and we will reward you with (five) 5 @$1.00 scratchies. These will be sent to you once we have verified that the category/subcategory does not appear on our site and that it is something that is for Rent or Hire and not for Sale. Naturally you will be advised by email of our decision.

  11. Q: Are RentHire Ads current?
    A: Yes. Our Ads are some of the most current Ads on the Internet because they run for either 21 days or on a monthly contract. The Casual Ad is taken down if it is not renewed. This ensures all Ads are current. This ensures you always see the latest Ads first
